Resolve Earthworks & Environmental Ltd. was awarded the contract to remediate and reclaim multiple well sites. The work sites were located in close proximity to a Town and adjacent to high traffic highways.

Resolve was awarded the project based on its overall price and proposed work plan, as well as its safety record and proven capabilities on similar projects. 

The project scope included the following:

• Coordination with environmental consultant to develop the most cost-effective work plan to complete the remedial activities.

• Acquisition of road use permits from the County.

• Strip and stockpile topsoil over areas of excavation and soil treatment areas.

• Remove gravel access roads and teardrops from leases.

• Excavate and stockpile clean overburden.

• Excavate, stockpile, and treat impacted soils onsite.

• Excavate, stockpile, transport, and dispose of impacted soils to a Class II landfill.

• Cut & cap pipeline and remove 122m of pipe from ground.

• Backfill and compact excavated areas with treated soils, stockpiled overburden, and imported clean fill.

• Regrade site including excavated area, access roads and ditches.

• Import, place and grade topsoil to match surrounding contours.
