Resolve Earthworks & Environmental Ltd. was awarded the contract to reclaim a privately owned gravel township road. The work area was located adjacent to multiple landowners’ properties, and was completed in conjunction with the reclamation of multiple wellsites along the roadway.

Resolve was awarded the project based on its overall price, project understanding, safety record, and proven capabilities on similar projects.

The project scope included the following:

• Coordination with the owner, environmental consultant, and adjacent landowners to develop the most cost-effective work plan to complete the reclamation activities.

• Strip and stockpile topsoil from the ditches and roadway right of way.

• Excavate and stockpile ~6,200m3 clean overburden and salvageable gravels from the roadway.

• Remove three gravel approaches and culverts.

• Backfill and compact all excavated materials.

• Regrade, contour, and recompact roadway area, ditches and right of ways over a total area of 17,380m2.

• Final grading of topsoil to match surrounding contours and promote positive site drainage over 17,380m2.
